This position is located in the Office of Program Integrity, Office of Analytics, Review and Oversight (OARO). The incumbent serves as an analyst to assist management officials responsible for overseeing the agency's Program Integrity Program. The incumbent designs, develops, and presents analytical models and methods for implementation, performs qualitative and quantitative analysis, and conducts research to support and further SSA's program integrity initiatives.

A Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR have completed 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related, in a field that provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the work of the position. Your educational degree must be in mathematics or statistics; or a degree that provided 24 semester hours or more of mathematics and statistics. C. I have less than the amount of graduate education or experience as described above; however, when combined, my graduate education and experience total 100% of the requirements.
To qualify at the GS-12 level, you must have 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS-11 level, or equivalent, which is in or related to the work of the position to be filled, that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience should include developing studies involving large datasets and mathematical/statistical techniques; transforming unprocessed, incomplete, or unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis; and preparing research reports, technical papers, guidelines, and/or instructions for technical and non-technical audiences.
Applicants must have a bachelor's or higher degree that included 24 semester hours of mathematics and statistics of which at least 12 semester hours were in mathematics which includes at least 4 of the following: differential calculus, integral calculus, advanced calculus, theory of equations, vector analysis, advanced algebra, linear algebra, mathematical logic, differential equations, or any other advanced course in mathematics for which one of these was a prerequisite; and 6 semester hours were in statistics.
