The incumbent is responsible to provide information and to assist patrons utilizing the Auto Skills Center such as: Assist customers with complex automotive procedures i.e. brake jobs, tune ups, transmission and engine repair/replacement, raises and lowers vehicles, operating hydraulic vehicle lifts to perform maintenance, manually lift heavy wheels and tires, performing tire changes off and on wheels using pneumatic/electric tire machines, turns brake rotors and drums using break lathe machine, perform strut and spring compressions with wall mounted spring compressor unit, performs 4-wheel brake bleeds using hydraulic pressure brake bleed machine, performs safety briefs on tools and equipment. Performs other duties as assigned.
