DUTY STATION STATEMENT: Open to current NCUA employees in the competitive service who reside within the Western Region and contiguous states. The selectees duty station will not change during this temporary assignment.
Western Region states are Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Contiguous states are Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas.
If selected for this position at a higher grade than your current position, this opportunity will be a temporary promotion for you. If you are selected for this position at the same grade that you currently hold, this opportunity will be a detail for you. If you are selected for a detail at the CU-13 level, you will only perform work at the CU-13 level and you will not be eligible for a promotion while serving on the detail.
As a Credit Union Examiner (Regional Information Systems Officer), the selectee will be responsible for:

SALARY: Pay will be set using NCUA's Compensation policy. The salary range shown is NCUA's National Pay Rate (NPR) which includes a locality rate of 16.32% for the Rest of the U.S. (RUS) geographical area. Actual salary will be determined upon the location of selectee and the applicable locality pay, per the NCUA's CU pay table, will be applied.
