FEDERAL REQUIRMENT FOR COVID-19 VACCINATION:

If you are selected for this position, you will be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 by November 22, 2021, or prior to onboarding, if hired after November 22, unless you request a legally required exception from this requirement.
FEDERAL REQUIRMENT FOR COVID-19 VACCINATION:
To ensure compliance with an applicable preliminary nationwide injunction, which may be supplemented, modified, or vacated, depending on the course of ongoing litigation, the Federal Government will take no action to implement or enforce the COVID-19 vaccination requirement pursuant to Executive Order 14043 on Requiring Coronavirus Disease 2019 Vaccination for Federal Employees. As part of onboarding, you will need to submit DOE's Certification of COVID-19 Vaccination for Prospective Federal Employees attesting to truthfulness prior to onboarding. Once onboard, you will then be required to complete the DOE's MyEnergy system in order to implement workplace safety protocols, such as protocols related to masking, physical distancing, testing, travel, and quarantine.
Education Substitution for GS-09:
Possess a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.; or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree may be substituted.
Education Substitution for GS-11:
Possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
