As a Program Analyst (Minority Depository Institutions), you will:
Explore new ideas and research different opportunities that will meet the unique needs of MDIs while ensuring compliance with federal requirements and regulations. Use qualitative and quantitative techniques to analyze and measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of CURE's MDI programs. Devise methods and develop recommendations to improve CURE's internal administrative operations and programs. Interpret a variety of financial, statistical, and economic data to ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy of data. Assist with maintaining an outreach program focused on developing minority credit unions. This includes sustaining and enhancing relationships with representatives of other government agencies, credit unions, credit union trade organizations, philanthropic and community groups, and minority organizations in order to stay abreast of challenges facing minority credit unions. Conduct research and develop outreach information on resources available to proposed, newly chartered and minority credit unions. Analyze legislation, policies, regulations or procedures to determine impact on program operations and management. Provide guidance on interpretation and implementation. Assist in the development, revision, or maintenance of policies and procedures involving the identification, performance and preservation of minority credit unions. Respond to general inquiries from minority credit unions. Advise of unique conditions and issues that affect CURE's program activities. Provide recommendations to the Operations Director and/or Program Manager. Prepare, analyze, interpret, and evaluate written reports and data. This includes financial status, trends, and assistance provided to minority credit unions. Assist the Program Manager with the preparation and presentation of cases for consideration by the NCUA Board and Executive Staff and disseminate reports to the NCUA Board, regional offices, and central office managers. |

SALARY: Pay will be set using NCUA's compensation policy. Actual salary will be determined upon the location of the selectee and the applicable locality pay, per the NCUA's CU paytable, will be applied.
