As a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (Policy & Planning) you will be responsible for the following duties:
Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience must be reflected in your resume. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled.
Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by:
1. Providing support for cyber-related Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System initiatives for cyber defense capabilities.
2. Evaluating operational plans, exercises scenarios and doctrine to support Combatant Commanders' joint cyberspace defense needs and capabilities.
3. Developing Joint/DoD Cyberspace Security strategies, policies, & operational concepts to ensure cyber survivability of current and future weapon/mission systems.
4. Providing oversight and recommendations to defensive security processes to protect information processing facilities, networks, and enclaves in support of strategic and joint missions.
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
