As a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS) you will be responsible for the following duties:
For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the following four competencies. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled.
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
This position requires Acquisition Workforce Level III certification in Information Technology. Certification prior to hiring is not essential but must be accomplished within 24 months after entry into this position. Thereafter, acquisition continuous learning activities achieving 80 continuous learning points must be obtained every 24 months.
Information Assurance Certification is a condition of employment. This position includes information assurance (IA) work as a paramount duty requirement. Per DoD 8570-01.M, the incumbent of this position must achieve the appropriate IA certification within six months of assignment to these duties.
