SALARY: Pay will be set within the advertised pay range to align with the selectee's skills and experience and the requirements of the position in accordance with NCUA's Compensation policy. The salary range shown is NCUA's National Pay Rate (NPR) which includes a locality rate of 16.32% for the Rest of the U.S. (RUS) geographical area. Actual salary will be determined upon the location of selectee and the applicable locality pay, per the NCUA's CU pay table, will be applied. The locality rates, by location, can be found on the NCUA Careers webpage under the Salary Information section.
Please Note: This position is in the bargaining unit however the following applies for individuals hired under these time-limited appointments:
-Employees will be assigned the appropriate performance plan but will not receive an annual performance rating.
-Employees hired under this authority who onboard and are otherwise eligible at the time of the Agency's annual merit increase will be placed in their own merit performance pool and will receive the minimum merit increase, per the compensation agreement that is in effect at the time of the merit increase to their national pay rate.
COVID-19:
The NCUA's current posture due to the COVID-19 pandemic restricts employees from performing official travel and working onsite at NCUA offices or in credit unions until phase 1 voluntary status which will occur no earlier than August 30, 2021, and may be extended.
Management reserves the right to request employees to perform on-site work in exigent circumstances. If it becomes necessary for NCUA to request on-site work, NCUA may solicit volunteers for the assignment.
