You must have Information Technology (IT)-related experience which demonstrates proficiency in each of the following competencies:

In addition to the competencies listed above, applicants must meet the education and specialized experience for this position.
Basic Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or bachelor's or higher degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus. All academic degrees and course work must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions.
To qualify at the CG/GS-13 grade level, you must have at least one-year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade CG/GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience designing and developing software systems that align business, data and technology components to meet customer needs and using approaches that ensure new and existing development and software design activities are integrated with security, privacy and IT operations (for example; Software Development Life Cycle or DevSecOps).

2. Knowledge of computer science concepts and principles of standard computer science practices, methods, and techniques to perform, specific instructions, routine projects or minor phases of a larger or more complex project.
3. Knowledge of commercially available technologies and services, new and emerging technologies, information technology related trends, and cybersecurity and privacy standards/best practices.
4. Ability to design and develop applications using modern technologies and cybersecurity and privacy techniques.
5. Ability to communicate orally in order to present complex technical information, advice, findings and recommendations to both IT professionals and others during meetings and presentations.
