This is an entry level position. At the full performance level, you will:
Perform sampling, testing, and reporting necessary to comply with the State of Arizona ground water protection, potable water system permits, plant discharge permit, state and federal laws, an international treaty, and to support advanced water treatment research.
Analyze surface water, groundwater and return flows to support operation of the Colorado River system below Hoover Dam.
Conduct analyses in accordance with standard methods and procedures for examination of domestic and industrial supplies, surface waters, groundwaters, cooling waters and circulating water, boiler water, boiler feed water, wastewater effluents after verifying degrees of treatment, and untreated municipal or industrial wastewaters.
To be eligible, an applicant must meet the following:
To qualify at the GS-05 level, your resume must reflect one year of full time experience assisting with collecting or evaluating water, soil, or plants in a laboratory or field environment; recording or analyzing scientific data; and operating standard scientific equipment or performing scientific techniques.
