If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for evaluations, inspections, and reviews of DOJ programs. As a Program Analyst (Inspector), you will perform the following duties, typically in a team environment as a team member, but occasionally you may be assigned as the sole analyst for specific products of limited scope.
As an Inspector, you will actively participate in and assist teams that review DOJ programs and functional areas to assess compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, or participate in sensitive and complex congressional or DOJ management inquiries referred for review. Team members plan, execute, and participate in all phases of a review, including:
A Ph.D. or LL.M. or equivalent doctoral degree, or three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR a combination of education and experience as listed above.
All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
