Supervisor over Contracts Group in the Acquisition Management Division, Regional Office. As the Group Chief, this position has responsibility for the technical and administrative details concerning advanced procurement planning, preparation, solicitation, negotiation, issuance, administration and close-out of regional supply and service, research and development, and related contracts. The position serves as Contracting Officer and as senior advisor and consultant to the Division Manager and other managers, supervisors and specialists in the regional operating offices.
Provide contract and procurement advisory services and to manage the procurement program for supply ad services, research and development, and related contracts. Must maintain constant review of contract performance by examining the continuing timely and efficient administration of contracts prepared by staff. Oversee preparation of and coordinate action for change orders, subcontracting, notices of suspension, termination, claims payments, findings of fact and other related contract administration matters. Oversees preparation, issuance, negotiation and award of both competitive and non-competitive negotiated contracts.
