The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
-Plans, schedules, and conducts projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of substantive activities, projects, tasks, and specific operations carried out within OCIP.
-Analyzes and evaluates program effectiveness in meeting established goals and objectives.
-Analyzes sensitive information requirements to develop reporting systems, including system specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and system evaluation methodology.
-Develops conclusions, options, and recommendations for improvements to program operations that take into account and give appropriate weight to uncertainties about the data and other variables that affect long-range program performance.
-Adapts analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to develop new or modified work methods, organizational structures, records and files, management processes, staffing patterns, procedures for administering program services, guidelines, and automating work processes.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-13: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience in ALL of the following:
-Collaborating as part of the design, planning and implementation to support program and process improvement; AND
-Analyzing processes, guidance or regulations in the areas of cybersecurity, incident management, event planning and execution, and identifying areas for improvement; AND
-Experience with customer relationship management working directly with executives, program managers, technical experts, and staff; AND
-Providing management coordination assistance to cover areas such as program management, incident monitoring, and Financial Sector coordination.
For the GS-12: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience in ALL of the following:
-Program and process improvement research, design and planning team experience; AND
-Experience with customer relationship management working directly with executives, program managers, technical experts, and staff; AND
-Researching and providing recommendations on issues covering areas such as program management, incident monitoring, and Financial Sector coordination.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11 level for 52 weeks.
