The Assistant Director for Stakeholder Engagement oversees CISA's Stakeholder Engagement Division and is responsible for developing strategic and collaborative partnerships to broaden CISA's influence and improves coordination and integration of stakeholder relationships. The Assistant Director for Stakeholder Engagement manages CISA's customer relationship management platform, collects strategic stakeholder feedback and requirements, fosters collaboration and a culture of shared ownership of these relationships, and aligns and manages priorities and performance for stakeholder engagements.
Specific responsibilities include:
Leads the coordination of CISA's Sector Specific Agency responsibilities for dams, radiological /nuclear, chemical, commercial facilities, communications, emergency services, critical manufacturing, and information technology (IT) sectors and coordinates cross-sector activities across each of the Nation' s sixteen critical infrastructure sectors.
Leads Agency-wide engagement with international partners through the development of a strategy and deployment of CISA staff to enhance CISA's partnership and operational collaboration with international partners.
Manages the broad range of partnership coordination, information sharing, and related activities that underpin the security and resilience of critical infrastructure against all hazards - including terrorism, natural disasters, other manmade threats, pandemics, and cyber-attacks. Directs a large and diverse staff of Federal employees and contractors in the conduct of critical infrastructure sector support ensuring all required programs, initiatives, and activities meet federal mandates.
Oversees and manages CISA's Stakeholder Relationship Management (SRM) system, the Agency's enterprise-wide customer management data platform, to include championing the SRM system across the organization to ensure adoption, use, and self-sustaining maturity and utilization of the SRM knowledge base.
Facilitates coordination with Federal, State, local, tribal and territorial for critical infrastructure sectors at the national and regional levels. Executes the national effort to build, sustain, align, and leverage public-private partnerships with critical infrastructure stakeholders to develop and implement risk-informed programs that improve mitigation capabilities across the Nation, thus enhancing infrastructure security and resilience.
Ensures implementation of programs and policies that produce successful partnerships with national and regional critical infrastructure organizations, State, local, tribal and territorial partners in security and resilience programs.
Provides direction and leadership in the budget, planning, and management of Stakeholder Engagement Division contracts and resources to support CISA goals and milestones.
Provides guidance in all aspects of human capital resource management and employee development to ensure achievement of all Office of Personnel Management, Department, and CISA directives.
Presents Agency positions, briefings and all forms of communication to Federal, State, local, tribal, territorial and private sector partners daily, ensuring Agency positions are clearly articulated and CISA is represented effectively.
Plan, conduct, and participate in meetings with senior Federal and state officials and senior officials in the Department, White House, Congress, and other Cabinet-level agencies on CISA programs, initiatives and objectives in the security and resilience of the nation's critical infrastructure.
Manages other significant Senior Executive Service-level responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the Director or Deputy Director.
Actively promotes diversity and inclusion outcomes in personnel recruiting, mission delivery, and workplace culture development.

As a basic requirement for entry into the SES, applicants must provide evidence of progressively responsible executive leadership and supervisory experience that is indicative of senior executive level management capability and directly related to the skills and abilities outlined under Executive Core Qualifications and Technical Qualifications listed above.
The ideal candidate will have experience supervising employees through subordinate supervisors and have experience hiring, developing, and evaluating employees. Typically, experience of this nature will have been gained at or above the GS-14/15 grade level in the federal service or its equivalent in the private sector or non-governmental organizations.
Failure to meet this basic qualification requirement and all executive and technical qualification factors automatically disqualifies an applicant.
