The trial attorney will be responsible for all aspects of representing the United States in aviation and admiralty actions brought under the Federal Tort Claims Act and a variety of admiralty and maritime laws, including marine pollution laws. Duties include preparation of pleadings, pretrial discovery, researching, writing and arguing motions, conducting alternative dispute resolution, and all aspects of trial and appellate case work.
All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. For a list of schools that meet this criteria, see www.ed.gov.
