Serves as a Management and Program Analyst in the Business Performance Division (AHA-500) of the Office of Accountability and Strategic Business Management (AHA-1). H Band Duties
Typical duties may include: Designing the analytics function as well as building the skills, competencies and processes necessary within AHA to deliver workforce analytics; Coordinates with the lead analysts in advanced HR analytics, concepts, analytical methods and techniques; Assists the Lead Data Analyst to develop new and innovative approaches, methodologies, and/or techniques to define and direct challenging projects/programs/activities; Maintain HR analytical tools, reports and dashboards developed by the AHA Data Team; Maintenance of data to support HR analytics needs and ensuring accuracy and consistency of key data sets, report and metrics; Helps in the development and implementation of new solutions and systems. Provides guidance and applies methods to monitor, evaluate, forecast, and report progress toward achieving organizational goals and objectives and to assist management in making informed strategic decisions. Supports all HR business processes such as staffing, compensation, training and development from a system's perspective collaborating with applicable stakeholders.
Demonstrates independence in time management and helping the Lead Data Analyst plan projects; utilizing resources, actionable events, achieve milestones, meet deadlines, and/or program issues under review with limited guidance. Performs as an individual contributor to AHA Data Team program deliverables in a timely manner from initial creation to final archiving, which includes, tracking internal and external organizational taskers and maintaining AHA repositories/databases.
Provides consultation services, technical assistance, and training to AHR on strategies, plans, and initiatives to support strategic HR initiatives. Collaborates to ensure work activities/products align with the LOB/organizational strategic goals and customer requirements.
I band duties
Typical duties may include: Support all HR business processes such as staffing, compensation, training and development from a system's perspective collaborating with applicable stakeholders to enhance HR business processes; Serves as a Data Analyst and a contributing participant on large work activities cross-functional project teams; Subject Matter Expert in HR analytical tools, reports and dashboards; Maintain HR analytical tools, reports and dashboards developed by the AHA Data Team. Maintenance of data to support HR analytics needs and ensuring accuracy and consistency of key data sets, report and metrics; Articulates and communicates projects, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and periods for completion, with minimal direction of the manager/Lead Data Analyst. Provides guidance in the development and implementation of new solutions and systems and resolves most work issues without assistance; Tracks AHA Data Team program deliverables in a timely manner from initial creation to final archiving and maintenance of official final copies in AHA repositories/databases.
Design statistical methodologies and applications to report on key metrics. Develop strategies to improve and automate program operations. Identifies and interprets trends in data, present findings, and provide recommendations. Provides analysis of collected data to gain actionable insight to drive business decisions for all areas related to Human Resources. Reconciling conflicting data, proactively review/analyze reports for trends, and devise new and modified orts for trends. Devise new and modified methods to analyze and report findings to applicable senior level management.
Address complex issues which often cross multiple projects, programs, and/or functional areas. Develops and recommends approaches to address current and anticipated problems and issues. Provides training to internal stakeholders on analytical techniques and data interpretation. Develops forward-looking projections and predictive analytics to support HR and business strategies.
Candidates must have one year (52 weeks) of SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
