This position is located in the Interior Region 8,9,10 & 12. Duty station will be with Klamath and Bay area Network Servicing Human Resources Office (SHRO) boundaries in Region 10. Physical Demands: The work is primarily sedentary, but does require some physical activity such as light to moderate lifting of boxes. It also involves considerable mental fatigue brought about by workload, shifting priorities and tight deadlines. Work is generally performed in an office setting although some field exercises will be necessary.
Working Conditions: Work is generally performed in an adequately lighted and climate controlled office. Office work requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time working at a computer. Work is conducted over the phone via e-mail, face-to-face, via video-conferencing, or any combination of these methods. Field work includes travel to different duty stations over long distance and exposure to extreme weather conditions (i.e., rain, snow, fog, extreme heat).
