This Contract Specialist position is to serve as a District Contracting Officer, exercising delegation of authority to contract for a variety of services, supplies and equipment.
If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for providing Contract Specialist support in the Acquisitions Unit, Administrative Division, U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of New York, located inBrooklyn, New York, focusing in the areas of directing the purchase of various commercial and/or specialized supplies, equipment and services for the USAO-NYE.
Typical work assignments will include:
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
