This Vacancy is using the Direct-Hire authority to recruit for positions for which there is a critical hiring need. Degree: Economics - Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university that met all of that institution's requirements for a bachelor's or higher degree with a major in economics, that included at least 21 semester hours in economics and 3 semester hours in statistics, accounting, or calculus.

Combination of education and experience: courses equivalent to a major in economics, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
Special Instructions for Foreign Education: Qualifying education from colleges and universities in foreign countries must be evaluated in terms of equivalency to that acquired in U.S. colleges and universities. Applicants educated in whole or in part in foreign countries must submit sufficient evidence, including transcripts, to an accredited private organization for an equivalency evaluation of course work and degree.
