As a Supervisory Contract Specialist, you will provide first-line supervision and direction to a group of Contract Specialists performing preaward, administration and termination work related to contracts, to assure the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the unit.
This position is located in the Public Buildings Service, Acquisition Management Division, Syracuse, NY and Newark, NJ

Ability to supervise and interpret contracting laws, regulations, principles and policies to generate new procurement concepts.
Knowledge of contract types, methods of contracting and techniques
Mastery of the principles of acquisition planning sufficient to develop and implement a plan to procure multi-year contracts for technical services and/or maintenance
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing to all levels both internally and externally.
