As a Supervisory IT Specialist, GS-2210-13, you will plan, organize, and direct the activities of the organization, ensuring that the advice and assistance provided complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Develop goals and objectives that integrate organization and C4 program objectives. Research, interpret, analyze and apply applicable C4 guidelines, policies and objectives. Establish policies and procedures for accomplishment of the organization's C4 mission. Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust priorities, and prepare schedules. Review organization mission, functions, and manning. Identify requirements and initiate requests for additional resources to ensure success. Establish systems to ensure actions are timely and reviewed at critical points. Accept, review, amend, or reject work presented by subordinates. Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advise and provide counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Develop, modify, and/or interpret performance standards. Hear and resolve employee complaints and refer unresolved complaints to higher-level management. Initiate action to correct performance or conduct problems. Identify employee developmental needs and arrange for training. Ensure education and compliance with security directives for employees with access to classified or sensitive material. Represent the organization with state and functional area organizations. Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with National Guard Bureau and state personnel at all management levels. Participate in special projects and initiatives and perform special assignments.

1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.
This position conducts information assurance functions. The incumbent shall comply with the requirements of the certification program and will be required to obtain and maintain certification. Certification requirements are outlined in DOD Instruction 8570.01-M.
NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires
membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
