The Management Analyst is responsible for providing management advisory/reporting services, including initiating, defining requirements, developing, implementing, evaluating, and enhancing information/management reporting systems. The Management Analyst completes complex analysis projects and management studies and plans, organizes, and conducts studies which have an impact on the organization as part of a continuing management improvement program and based on the results of these studies, make recommendations to management concerning the efficient and effective operation of the office and/or organization. Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Analyzing and evaluating (on a quantitative or qualitative basis) the effectiveness of line program operations in meeting established goals and objectives; designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for management tracking updates. Resolving conflicts that arise, coordinating the work with others as necessary, relating new work situations to precedent ones, extending or modifying existing techniques, and interpreting and applying program policy in terms of established objectives.
The experience may have been gained in the public, private sector, or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
