3East is a 25 bed unit and E2Medicine is a 15 bed unit caring for medical and surgical patients with both acute and chronic medical conditions. E2Medicine also cares for patients that are observation status (post operative catheterizations, ablations, pacemakers etc.) The nurses provide care with the assistance of nursing assistants and a variety of ancillary services. Nurses implement the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary care team, provide psychological support to patients and families and supervise assigned team members.
Duties: The Assistant Nurse Manager serves as an assistant with line authority to the unit Clinical Nurse Manager in providing leadership, supervision and direction to nursing staff. The role includes both supervisory and clinical duties, to include providing direct patient care as needed.
Work Schedule: 0830-1700, Eight (8) hour Tours; Tuesday- Saturday or Sunday- Thursday as needed, Variable off tour coverage as needed.
