The Office of the Assistant Deputy Under Secretary for Health for Integrity encompasses all VA health care facilities throughout the country. The overarching purpose of the enterprise risk assessment process, as directed by the incumbent, is to protect the organization from risks that could interfere with the organization's objectives and goals and mitigate risk where it is unavoidable.
The Enterprise Risk Manager (ERM) is responsible for the leadership, management, and innovation necessary to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor the VHA's operational and strategic risks.
