About the Position: This position is located at Army Strategic Logistics Activity Charleston (ASLAC) in Goose Creek, SC, at Joint Base Charleston-Naval Weapons Station. ASLAC prepositions U.S. Army equipment and supplies aboard ships to provide rapid response for U.S. war fighters during a major conflict, a humanitarian operation or other contingency.

1. Coordinate action on prepositioned stocks ensuring that equipment and vehicles are maintained at a high state of readiness to support short notice.
2. Monitor equipment status and assess contractor performance in reporting readiness of Army Prepositioned Stocks
3. Ensure detail preparation, staffing, and command release of daily situation and logistics status reports to high headquarters.
4. Ensure personal readiness for short notice worldwide deployment to support exercises, contingencies, and wartime missions
5. Conduct extensive staff coordination with other branches/divisions to ensure that readiness reporting functions are completed.
