As a Production Controller, you will assist in the performance of a variety of production control processes including planning, estimating, scheduling and expediting work and supply tasks in direct support of assigned facilities and Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) for the Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) on the installation or assigned Geographical Separated Units (GSUs) and to manage the deployment and logistical (supply) assets of the CES. Such work involves work order management, oversight/management of CE operations to include training of drill status operations personnel, implementation of operations and supply procedures and operations, maintaining squadron mobility equipment, command and control contingency cell, providing supply guidance/assistance to other squadron personnel, oversight/performance of requisitioning, receiving, storing, accounting for and issuing a variety of repair parts,
MAJOR DUTIES (This is NOT an all-inclusive list)
GS-07: Assists in receiving and reviewing work requests (oral and written) for validity, accuracy, and feasibility and in ensuring proper coordination with outside organizations such as safety, fire, security, communications, occupational health, and environmental. Coordinates with engineering/design to obtain blue prints, specifications, and related data concerning projects. Serves as a focal point for automated CES work control and supply programs within CES or throughout the installation.
GS-09: Establishes plans and schedules for maintenance and repair, using multiple process production methods and procedures for a variety of vehicles and equipment such as combat vehicles, heavy-duty engineering and mobile equipment, tracked vehicles, towed and self-propelled artillery, communications and electronic equipment, guided missile systems, and small arms. Ensures Modified Table of Organization and Equipment (MTO&E) or Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) reportable Line Item Numbers (LIN) are properly managed, reported and accounted for with respect to readiness reports, property accountability reports, and system management. Programs workload, shop space, and available personnel on a short and long-term basis.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE
Experience, education or training which indicates the candidate can reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-07
Must have at least 12 months experience, education or training working with people from various levels and backgrounds. Experience with a general knowledge of the functions and procedures of production control, records, references, and techniques for developing production control data. Experience assisting or maintaining workflow.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-09
Must have at least 24 months experience, education or training preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes. Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc.
