The Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Dental Officer serves as a practicing dentist who performs a full range of professional dental procedures in connection with the treatment of commonly encountered dental diseases or dental health problems requiring standard corrective, restorative, or preventive measures.
SCOPE OF DUTIES. The Oral Maxillofacial Surgery dental officer shall be proficient in all aspects of oral maxillofacial surgery and limited general dentistry procedures. Specifically, the provider should possess the expertise and competency to perform the following:
