The incumbent will serve as the Associate Director for Legal Education, responsible for managing and supervising the agency work at the National Advocacy Center (NAC). The NAC is responsible for providing substantive support for the planning, operation, and evaluation of training programs for EOUSA, the Department of Justice (DOJ) and other federal agencies. The NAC located on the campus of the University of South Carolina (USC) in Columbia, SC.
The incumbent provides leadership in developing, implementing, evaluating and improving legal education processes, procedures and techniques that will promote the effectiveness of a national program of professional legal training, including identifying recommendations to resolve internal and external training issues affecting the collective USAOs, the DOJ litigation components, all federal agency legal personnel, as well as local and state law enforcement organizations.
This position requires a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association.
