As a Building Management Specialist, you serve as subject matter expert for planning, executing, evaluating and improving the vertical transportation program and ensure the safety, prooper operations and maintenance of highly technical and critical vertical transportation systems.

The Building Management Specialist/Vertical Transportation Specialist is a Senior Specialist who works as a regional technical advisor within the GSA, Southeast Sunbelt Region, Public Buildings Service, Facilities Management (FM) Division.

The GS-13 salary range starts at $91,631 per year.
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level of the Federal service; such as experience providing technical advice for the design and construction of elevators as well as repair and alteration projects on new buildings or existing facilities.
