The Senior Level Portfolio Manager is charged to support the integration of projects across the entire IT spectrum in a timely and complete manner through effective communication, collaboration and flexibility in resource allocations across all OCIO organizations and all Portfolios to identify, develop, leverage and promote enterprise capabilities to include economies of scale, technology reuse, best practices and lessons learned. The Portfolio Manager brings together key project team members, data points and processes to ensure a uniform view of Portfolio, Program and Project progress within a framework of adequate control and governance to collectively adhere to business objectives.

To meet the minimum requirements for this position, candidates must have significant experience in the following areas. This specialized experience should be indicated within your resume and answers to the Professional Technical Qualifications.
Experience must have been at a sufficiently high level of difficulty to clearly show that the candidate possesses the required professional/technical qualifications and executive core qualifications set forth below.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Professional Technical Qualifications: Applicants must clearly demonstrate in their application materials that they possess technical attributes in the Professional/Technical Qualifications (PTQs).
The Professional Technical Qualifications (PTQs) for this position are:
1. Describe in detail a time you had to manage the performance and completion of a major Information Technology program or initiative including managing large project budgets and significant revenue targets.
2. Demonstrated senior level experience driving large, cross-functional IT programs or portfolios involving coordination with multiple stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
3. Demonstrated senior level experience applying a range of analytical skills to effectively plan, organize, implement, and measure Portfolio and related Investment and Program progress.
4. Describe your experience working with a broad and diverse user community to gather requirements, develop and validate solutions. Include in your answer your demonstrable ability translating business requirements into system solutions, with experience developing blended multi-disciplinary teams in a matrix environment.
5. Describe your experience communicating complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders, peers, and senior leadership up to and including executive level. Explain how you effectively gained acceptance of deliverables with the user community.
There is not a specialized education requirement for this position.
