You will be responsible for the administration/coordination of social services provided to patients enrolled in all programs offered to veterans through the Geriatric and Extended Care (GEC) Service. You will represent GEC at appropriate service and facility meetings, and establish a liaison with agencies pertinent to GEC program operations. Direct liaison with clinical and administrative service chiefs, to promote effective functioning of these programs, will be your primary responsibility.

As a Social Worker for the Geriatric and Extended Care (GEC) Service located at our Fort Knox, KY and/or Scottsburg, IN community based outpatient clinic (CBOC), you will primarily be responsive for the Medical Foster Home program and may be assigned or provide consultation to any of the following programs within the Geriatric Clinics.
