As a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/NETWORK), GS-2210-13, you will serve as Cyberspace Operations (CYO) Section Supervisor providing supervision of operators who perform, and prepare other operators to perform, Cyber Protection Team (CPT), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), AF Cyber Defense (ACD), Cyber Command and Control Mission System (C3MS), National Mission Team (NMT), exercises, assessments and projects, and overseeing the management of all CYO assessment equipment and tools.Perform other duties as assigned.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have the following experiences: Skilled in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately; Ability to plan, direct, and coordinate difficult and complex programs; Ability to develop, apply, and adjust cyber program plans to attain agency objectives; Ability to select, develop, and supervise a subordinate staff; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, not only with subordinate staff, but with all levels of key management officials, the latter particularly requiring the exercise of tact, ingenuity, and resourcefulness; Ability to make oral and written presentations in a clear and concise manner; Ability to apply a high level of sound and independent judgment in the solution of cyber program problems and cyber mission requirements; A broad knowledge of and ability to utilize principles, methods, techniques, and systems; Ability to write proper English in reports and presentation formats; Ability to communicate clearly and effectively; Skilled in training, mentoring, and problem solving; and, Skilled in applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting program material.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 24 months of Cyberspace program supervisory experiences. Competent in performing the full-range of supervisory duties in regard to subordinates and managing personnel responsibilities. Skilled in advising, coaching, mentoring, and counseling employees to ensure understanding of the Air National Guard personnel programs, policies, to include senior management procedures and directives. Experienced in conducting interviews and selecting candidates for initial hires, reassignments, promotions, or formal details. Must have experiences and competence in regard to identifying Dual Status technician positions' Series qualification and/or certification requirements, training development, and compatible military skills. The supervisory experiences involved leading, planning, and scheduling program work in a manner that promoted smooth flow and even distribution of assigned work requirements. Experiences included training and guiding employees on cyberspace programs and assigning tasks. Supervisory experiences involved balancing mission program work requirements, aligning program policies, and providing advice, mentoring, and a wide-variety of directions. Experienced on coaching and counseling employees on behaviors and/or performance issues. Experienced in structuring assignments that created effective and efficient procedures with measured and improved task processes.
Information Assurance Certification is a condition of employment. This position includes information assurance (IA) work as a paramount duty requirement. Per DoD 8570.01-M, the incumbent of this position must achieve the appropriate IA certification within six months of assignment of these duties. A waiver of this six month requirement may be granted per DoD 8570.01-M, C3.2.4.2 or C3.2.4.3. Failure to receive the proper IA certification may result in removal from this position.
Degree Required: An undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university is mandatory. The degree must be in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services with desired courses in Computer Engineering; Engineering Physics/Applied Physics; Industrial Engineering; Electromechanical Engineering; Electrical, Electronics and Communications; Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology; Cyber/Electronics Operations and Warfare; Mathematics and Computer Science; Accounting and Computer Science; Computational Science; and Management Information Systems; or Mathematics. A graduate degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services is optimum.
Based on the Cyberspace Operations mission requirements and directed tasks, along with the strict Information Assurance Management Certification requirements for the GS-2210 Cyber Program Dual Status Technician positions, no substitutions of Education for Specialized Experiences are allowed for any reason or purpose.
