As a Data Analyst Intern, you will:
Applicants must be enrolled part-time or full-time in an accredited institution pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Business, or a related field.
You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.

You will be part of a dedicated team helping to mobilize private capital to help solve critical development challenges and advance U.S. foreign policy.
This internship is at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), Office of Investment Policy (OIP) is in the Development Outcome (DO) Group. The Office of Investment Policy (OIP) analyzes proposed investment projects to ensure their eligibility for OPIC assistance with regard to the agency's policies on worker rights and environmental standards, employment and development and market effects; performs risk analyses and portfolio analyses; and monitors existing projects to assure continued adherence to contractual provisions and statutory requirements.
The DO Group provides support in collecting data and preparing reports on OPIC's development impacts and project information on-going OPIC finance, insurance, and investment funds projects. In addition, the DO plans and implements the Development Outcomes Strategic Evaluations conducted on a select group of OPIC projects nearing the end of support by OPIC.
