Entry and Skill Levels are developmental levels that progress to the Target, which is full level performance.
Will serve as a Child and Youth Program Assistant (CYPA) in one or more of the CYS programs. Maintain control of and account for whereabouts
and safety of all children and youth in the programs. Reviews, provides input to, and implements schedules and activity plans for the programs
you work with. Interacts with children and youth using approved child guidance and youth development techniques. Interacts professionally
with staff members, parents, and local installation command personnel. Participates in conferences with parents and staff. Briefs other
employees and parents.
Supervises children and youth during daily schedule of indoor and outdoor activities and on field trip, outings and special events. Promotes and
models safety, fitness, and health and nutrition practices. Cares for special needs children and youth as directed by the supervisor. Notifies
supervisor of health, fire, and safety compliance concerns. Helps arrange for and serve appropriate snacks or meals where applicable.
Inventories equipment on a recurring basis and recommends replenishing damaged, missing and depleted supplies. Secures supplies
equipment, and facilities. Collects, maintains and reports program participation data.
Performs other duties as assigned.

We are there when you need us. We support a large population of Military and Civilian personnel with the Child Care Services that they are in need of. We have 2 great facilities, one located at the Detroit Arsenal in Warren, MI and one located on Selfridge ANG Base in Harrison Township, MI.
These positions could be located at either location.
