As a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (TITLE 32), GS-1152-7, you will establish plans, schedules, controls the maintenance/repair of a variety of vehicles, equipment such as combat vehicles, heavy-duty engineering, mobile equipment, tracked vehicles, towed/self-propelled artillery, guided missile systems; implements maintenance plans, monitors progress of accomplishments; input data regarding work order information, status changes/supply updates, pertinent info; make on-the-spot adjustments repair priorities routine/reoccurring processes necessitated by unscheduled maintenance requirements; modification work orders; assist supervisory personnel, determine impact of these requirements shop capability; modify production planning requirements; conduct initial/long range planning, mechanical skills, availability test, diagnostic equipment, repair parts, designate/maintain current maintenance repair priorities by Force Activity Designator, pacing items, ERC: A, B, C equipment type, commander's priority, state/national priorities; authorize acceptance equipment for repair; monitors work priorities; assist supervisory personnel regarding readiness, Class 9 funding, production problems; assist resolution of problems encountered between scheduled/unscheduled production/priority requirements; provide assistance ensure that MTOE/TDA reportable LIN are properly managed, reported/ accounted for with respect readiness reports, property accountability reports, system management; based on guidance received from supervisor or higher graded production controller, prioritizes resources ensure highest level of readiness in support training, mobilization requirements supported units; ensure equipment readiness reports are correct, submitted in time to meet DA reporting suspense; analyze repair methods, recommend control procedures, ensure accomplishment programs meet priorities, deadlines established by higher authority/support activities; coordinate with units, support activities concerning delivery, status repair operations, pick up completed work orders; absence of the higher graded production controller, ensure CL 9 accounts funded, budgeted, executed maximize readiness; performs demand analysis on CL 9 expenses determine proper PLL stockage sustain facility mission requirements; provide day-to-day technical guidance in maintenance production/management processes; ensure maintenance records are maintained, required reports submitted units/higher headquarters' in timely manner; performs other duties assigned.
