This position is open only to current an former HQ IMCOM NAF Employees and current, eligible HQ IMCOM Appropriated Fund Employees. Must be currently physically residing within commuting distance of Ft. Sam Houston, Texas.
Serves as the Government Purchase Card (GPC) Level IV Agency/Organization Program Coordinator (A/OPC) with responsibility for coordinating and reviewing contracting policies and procedures. Develops and prepares documents that provide advice and guidance on the Government Purchase Card (GPC) Program. Responsible for assisting the level III A/OPC managing the day-to-day operations, implementation and administration of the GPC program. Functions as the technical expert to provide guidance to Family and Moral, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) Programs and Activities on assigned installations.
Prepares GPC status reports and briefings; identifies unfavorable trends based on analysis and implements corrective and preventive measures to improve performance and accountability. Conducts surveillance reviews and provides training for cardholders and approving officials.
Education is not required for this position and will not be utilized in determining minimum qualifications or as a substitution for experience unless indicated in the vacancy.
