Education

Education may be substituted for specialized experience as follows for GS-05: Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position: 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical science, textiles, or other fields related to the position OR a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
Education may be substituted for specialized experience as follows for GS-07: Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position: 1 full year of graduate level education which includes major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical science, textiles, or other fields related to the position or a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement that includes major study in quality assurance or related field OR a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
