Incumbent serves as an Intelligence Operations Specialist for Cyber Intelligence in FAA's Special Activities and Law Enforcement Support Division (AXE-300) in the Office of National Security and Incident Response, located within a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). The incumbent performs multiple, varying and complex assignments under the minimal direction of the manager. S/he serves as a subject-matter expert and applies experience and comprehensive intelligence knowledge to solve complex problems and develop improved processes or systems. Typical duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Applicants must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of SPECIALIZED experience equivalent to the next lower grade/pay band (FG/GS-13/FV-I) in the Federal Government or non-Federal equivalent. Specialized experience is defined as that which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is typically in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as experienceutilizing appropriate research and analysis methods from existing information on current foreign intelligence entities to include cyber actors, security services and non-state actors against aviation and its related industries to develop countermeasures to address risks, vulnerabilities and threats.
