- Supports senior staff as required and ensures customer requirements and project milestones are met.
- Responsible for the design, development and testing of Software Defined Radio (SDR) embedded software, for
performing hands on integration and testing of software with target hardware in the loop and for interfacing with
various disciplines including system engineering, software engineering and configuration management staff and
groups.
- Independently design and create software solutions based on limited information on rapidly evolving projects.
- Develop new or maintain current software systems.
- Support planning and test efforts for new/existing software releases received from the Software
- Engineering team and final software build prior to deployment to operational sites.
- Support the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles.
- Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using Bugzilla, I/Tracker or similar tools/means.
