The Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy’s (EERE) mission is to create and sustain American leadership in the global transition to a clean energy economy through high-impact research, development, and demonstration and by breaking down barriers to market entry. This position is located in the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), Wind Energy Technologies Office. The Wind Energy Technologies Office works to advance scientific knowledge and technological innovation to enable clean, low-cost wind energy options nationwide. Research funded by Wind Energy Technologies Office has played an essential role in driving down costs, increasing megawatts of wind installed, and fostering economic development in the United States.
