As a Telecommunications Specialist GS-0391-11, you will:
Serve as CSI-B to develop, document, and validate the C4 infrastructure for the ANG, Supported Wing Commanders, Geographically Separated Units (GSU) Commanders, C&I Systems Officers (CSOs) and Base C&I Systems Planners.
Develop program plans which provide end-to-end communications solutions to include cost comparisons of contract personnel versus ANG organic resources for engineering, and allied support and installation costs.
Assist in the development of command, control communications, and mission essential Command, Control, Communications, and Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems and associated infrastructures.
Coordinate with Civil Engineering, Architectural and Engineering (A&E) contractors and MAJCOM Facilities Programmers on all military construction projects (MCP) and base comprehensive master plans to evaluate potential mission impact on the CSCS weapons system and base C4I systems and reports issues to the ANG CSI-C.
Provide technical input to business case analysis efforts in support of MAJCOM strategic planning and budgeting actions and collaborates on subsequent analysis of alternatives to identify best investment value.
Identify current and long-range CSCS weapon systems and supporting C4I development plans; and, develops target architectures, based upon forecasted mission requirements such as, Air Force Network and Joint Information Environment.
Review C4I projects to ensure proper alignment with base master plans, current DoD, AF, and ANG architectures.
Serve as liaison between the customer and Engineering Installation Squadron contractor when problems or delays occur.
Develop and interpret policies and practices to ensure effective project implementation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
