This vacancy is for a Lead Clerk position at the Atlanta Regional Census Center (RCC) located in Atlanta Georgia.
The Lead Clerk will provide clerical and administrative support to the RCC for the Decennial Pretests and Decennial Operations.
This is a Time Limited Appointment, initial appointment is not to exceed (NTE) 2 years. This appointment may be extended or terminated earlier at management’s discretion.
A trial period may be required.

The work schedule for this position is Mixed Tour. With a Mixed Tour work schedule, an employee may be changed between full-time, part-time and intermittent work schedules to accommodate fluctuating workloads and is subject to a signed agreement.

To be minimally qualified for this position applicants MUST have a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute with 3 or fewer errors based on a five-minute sample.

For the GG-06, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-05 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes: Experience directing, organizing, planning, and reviewing clerical duties assigned. Specialized Experience: Experience for this position includes providing administrative support and leading subordinates in one or more of the following areas: personnel, payroll, recruitment, partnership, field operations, and/or geography.
