The Department of Radiology at the Orlando VA Medical Center is seeking a board-certified Interventional Radiologist. The Orlando VAMC in Lake Nona is across the street from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and the SimLEARN VA National Simulation Center. The campus is part of Lake Nona Medical City, which also includes the Nemours Children's Hospital and a growing commercial and residential presence.

Work duties will be performed at the Lake Nona VA Medical Center, a state-of-the-art facility that serves as the hub of medical care for the veterans of Central Florida. The facility provides outpatient care, inpatient care and ICU-level care, as well as one of the largest centers for residential care in the VA.
Candidate should be proficient at bland and chemoembolizations, microwave and cryoablation, various ultrasound and CT guided biopsies, all types of vascular access, drainage catheter placement and management, TIPS, arterial and venous stent placement, uterine artery embolization, IVC filter placement and retrieval, lumbar punctures, arthrocentesis and more. CTA, ABI and diagnostic imaging interpretation is required. No mammography. Call is 1:3.
