The Incumbent to this position serves as a Pathways Student Trainee for Research & Development Service at the Miami VA Healthcare System. The Student Trainee will assist with research administrative activities, performing literature reviews and manuscript preparations, and assisting the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Research & Development (R&D) Committee with system redesign activities. The Incumbent reports to the Associate Chief of Staff (ACOS/R) and Administrative Officer for Research (AO/R), in developing, implementing, maintaining and providing support to the Research Program. The Incumbent will contribute to facility performance by providing quality customer service, by understanding and disseminating the mission of the VA, and by promoting quality patient care through innovative Research and Development practices.
Work Schedule: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Physical Requirements: T he work is sedentary. Typically, the incumbent sits comfortably to do the work.
