Coordinate work with other staff areas within the field office. Contacts subject matter experts when initial extensive searches for information are incomplete. Answers phone calls and take messages. Respond to simple requests. Disseminate correspondence and track and maintain records. Maintains up to date master files on administrative materials and provides complete set upon request. Scans final documents into database and retrieves information for reports. Prepare reports, charts, graphs and other documents and review content. Conducts extensive searches for records. Checks and assembles records prior to their transfer to the records holding area. Prepare receipts, records and tracking forms. Maintain and retrieve information from automated applications/data systems. Maintains office supplies and equipment. Provide assistance and training to database users.
This position does not have a positive education requirement.
As a general rule, education is not creditable above GS-5; however, graduate education may be credited in those few instances where the graduate education is directly related to the work of the position.
You will need to clearly state your undergraduate/graduate degree(s) and submit your college transcripts or a listing of your college courses that includes hours and grades, date and degree conferred.
