The duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee and manage bureau-wide accounts payable processing of employee reimbursements, operational expenditures and procurements, inter and intra governmental and non-governmental transactions.
- Oversee, manage and coordinate miscellaneous obligations and undelivered orders in conjunction with budget, acquisitions, and travel functional areas across bureau-wide, regional and area offices.
- Oversee, manage and coordinate accounting services for the Denver regional office directorates including: Information Resources Office; Mission Support Services; Policy & Administration; Safety, Security and Law Enforcement; Technical Services Center; and Washington Budget Office.
- Manage engagement with departmental and bureau financial systems and travel system support teams, recommend new processes and/or system enhancements to gain efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
- Coordinate, track and measure production and performance. Perform the full range of supervisory duties to include outlining work to be accomplished, setting priorities, planning and scheduling recurring and non-recurring work assignments, and reviewing and approving subordinates work products.
- Oversee and manage bureau-wide travel program in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations and departmental policies, to include development of mission focused guidelines and training materials.
- Develop, interpret, apply and/or recommend internal policies, guidelines, procedures and training materials. Oversee preparation of desk-top and standard operating procedures, and interaction with other divisions and program areas as needed to ensure inter-related policies and procedures are updated and aligned appropriately.
- Analyze work processes and coordinate activities to improve quality, timeliness, productivity and customer service.
- Provide customer service to internal and external parties including technical and regulatory guidance, accounting support, research and follow-up for regional, area and/or bureau-wide offices
