The incumbent serves as Administrative Officer to the Chief, Surgery Service and provides administrative support to program areas. The duties are administrative in nature and involve the entire operation of the Medical Service Program, including Anesthesiology, ENT, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Optometry, Podiatry, Urology, Wound Care and Pain Management.

The new medical center at Lake Nona is open for outpatient and inpatient services and will continue to expand inpatient beds, Emergency Services, and other specialty services throughout 2018.
