This position is located in the Office of Treasurer (T), Technology Solutions Division (TTS) within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO). The Chief Enterprise Architect serves in a dual role as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the Gallery. The Chief Enterprise Architect is responsible for proactively and holistically leading enterprise responses to the evolving digital landscape by identifying and analyzing the execution of change toward the desired Gallery vision and strategy and targeted outcomes. The Chief Enterprise Architect supports the CIO an the Gallery’s Executive Digital and Technology Committee (EDTC), serving as a technical advisor to various strategic IT initiatives that are under the governance of the EDTC. As CTO, the incumbent will establish and lead the Gallery's Innovation Program.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility comparable to the next lower grade or comparable pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector. Examples of specialized experience are:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-15 grade level or comparable pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector serving as a technical advisor to various strategic IT initiatives within a cultural institution.
