If selected for this position you will work with the Contracting Officer (CO) on ratifications and changes to contracts, including Purchasing Requests (PRs) for new procurement requests and for incremental funding for existing contracts. You will provide assistance and oversight for the Project Manager's development of the Statement of Work (SOW), Performance Work statement (PWS), Statement of Objective (SOO), and Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE), and IT Acquisition Requests (ITAR).
You will work to evaluate and execute the optimal approach to the acquisition of IT goods and/or services at the best possible total cost of ownership. You provide Contracting Officer Representative services relative to procurement of new efforts and administration of existing contracts for the Office of Information Technology (AIT).

To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H, FG/GS-12 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience may include but is not limited to: Experience dealing with contracting methods, policies, and procedures on complex IT contracts.
