Inventory Management: Integrate management and control of medical supplies and equipment. The work involves a number of processes to include requirements determination, material distribution, procurement authorization, and funds management. Serve as expert facilitator in all fields of logistics involving medical and nonmedical supplies and services. The incumbent will govern supply procedures and measure supply performance for assigned areas. Serves as key personnel for ordering and receipt process. Analyze and fill material requirements for assigned areas to include planning and initiating actions to obtain material, determine and set stock levels, and monitor usage activities. Utilize a variety of sophisticated electronic data processing systems to accomplish daily operations.Serve as an Approving Official and/or Purchase card holder to conduct procurement requirements below the micro-purchase threshold for supplies and services. Reconciles the monthly account information according to regulatory requirements. Remain informed and in compliance with all new supply initiatives including standardization, automated systems, and the procurement programs.
